MaRITeC-X project was presented at the Maritime CIO Forums of 2018 that took place in Limassol on 27 March.
During the event that was opened by Natasa Pilides, the newly appointed Deputy Minister of Shipping of the Republic of Cyprus an extensive presentation of our projects vision, current activities and future prospects was provided to an enthusiastic international audience of maritime industry stakeholders.
Representative of Maritime Institute of Eastern Mediterranean, partner of MaRITeC-X project, while presenting elements of our strategy, stressed the importance of the digitalisation revolution of the maritime economy and transport and our aspiration to position MaRITeC-X as an important driver of scientific and industrial excellence in this emerging domain globally.
The next series Maritime CIO Forums will take place in Hamburg on 24th April, with the following sessions:
