On December 16th, 2020, the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM) and the Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute (CMMI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will enable collaboration on Marine and Maritime Research and Innovation (‘R&D’) between the two organizations.
During the signing ceremony of the Memorandum the Business Development Director of CIIM, Mr. Panayiotis Jacovides highlighted that “both organizations have a common vision in the fields of blue and green prosperity, sustainable development and technological innovation, therefore the cooperation which has been agreed by signing the MoU will result to multilevel, continuous and successful outcomes.”
The CEO of CMMI, Mr. Zacharias Siokouros expressed his contentment for the signing of the MOU and highlighted the fact that both organizations can cooperate jointly in organizing training courses, exchange programs, seminars, symposia, workshops and conferences related to marine and maritime science.
