EDT Shipmanagement Ltd and the Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute (CMMI) have signed on Friday October 30th a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The signing took place at EDT premises in the Port of Limassol. With this MOU, the two organizations aim to work together in areas of common interest with a particular focus on Marine and Offshore Technology and Engineering.
During the signing of the MoU, CMMI’s CEO, Zacharias Siokouros, reiterated the commitment of CMMI to engage with the industry at all levels. “We strongly believe that the interaction of our scientists with the industry partners will offer a lot of benefits to all parties. The local all-important maritime cluster may consider CMMI as its own R&D department which is here to support them; and on the other hand, I am confident that our scientists have a lot to learn from the people of the industry”. www.cmmi.blue
