MEDNET National Event – 15th of May 2015, Limassol, CyprusThe Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) in collaboration with the Maritime Institute of Eastern Mediterranean (MarInEM) would like to invite you to the Cyprus national event to raise information awareness to the public regarding the actions and results of the European research project MEDNET (Mediterranean Network for Custom Procedures and Simplification of Clearance in Ports). MEDNET deals with the simplification and harmonization of customs procedures and port operations in the Mediterranean region.The MEDNET project is one of the MED Strategic Projects with a total budget of 4,982,400€ and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund. MEDNET aims at the simplification and harmonization of port and maritime procedures in the wider Mediterranean region. Please come 15 minutes earlier in order to avoid any delays. The presentations that will be made during the event will be in English.The event will be greeted by the Honourable Minister of Communications and Works, Mr. Marios Demetriades.
